Christ Lutheran takes missions very seriously:

It is our goal (desire/prayer) that the entire congregation of Christ Lutheran is actively engaged in the church’s mission work. Our mission team is the congregation. We follow the mission model outlined in Acts 1:8, which states, “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Before his ascension into heaven, Jesus provided a model for missions as he commissioned his disciples and all believers. This commission can be divided into four areas of focus, which Christ Lutheran uses to support mission organizations.

Our four mission partners are focused on the following areas:

Jerusalem – Our front step; Love INC Heartland

Judea – In our area; MN Adult & Teen Challenge (MNATC)

Samaria – Nearby but a different culture; Rising Hope as well as A.C.T. United

The World – International Mission; Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)

In addition to our 4 mission partners, we have two ministry partners.  These partners help us as we minister to our congregation. They are:

Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC)

Inspiration Point Christian Camp & Retreat Center (IPoint)
